I've created a script that should run at 1135 GMT daily that sends a
summary of out-of-date packages to blfs-book.

Where might I get this script?

Well it's only a 40 line php script, but it depends on 25 other
scripts that look for the current version of each package and create the
html files at http://anduin.linuxfromscratch.org/~bdubbs/blfs-currency.html

The latest script just gets the asterisked lines from the html files,
formats them, and sends out an email.

Collectively the scripts are about 10K lines of php code. They are a
bit fragile as many packages depend on the format of upstream web pages
and need to be updated when they change.

I see. I take it that these scripts are the heart of how you LFS guys build and maintain all the LFS stuff, no?

You've got me curious about how you guys do all this stuff. I know it's a big job, and I've often wondered how you manage to keep it all organized so well.
