I'm on my test machine (x86_64 AMD Kaveri) with LFS svn from 20150320 and BLFS from, I think, 20150325 (plus minor firefox update). This is my second build, with KDE instead of my normal desktop. Initially I had LO-4.4.1.2 and I had built that after kde (but not rebooted so still using a basic window manager). And that was fine.
Today I've tried to build 4.4.2.2 - but from kdm - and it failed with [build DEP] LNK:CppunitTest/libtest_sd_export_tests.so [build LNK] CppunitTest/libtest_sd_export_tests.so No protocol specified No protocol specified unknown:0:Test::testFdo77229 An uncaught exception of type com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException - PresenterCanvas: invalid number of arguments ##Failure Location unknown## : Error Test name: Test::testFdo77229 An uncaught exception of type com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException - PresenterCanvas: invalid number of arguments Failures !!! Run: 1 Failure total: 1 Failures: 0 Errors: 1 You need gdb in your path to show backtraces (snipped there) I don't think this is exactly the same failure as I saw when building 4.4.1.2 from kdm on my underpowered A4, but it looks very similar. It's like déjâ vu all over again! Will try the same workaround, i.e. dropping back to runlevel 3. At least a -j5 build on this machine only takes around 3 hours. ĸen -- Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early. After all, she was an old lady.
