Pierre, note that I'm testing a patch for gcc right now. You may want to hold
off until I get that done. It should be in a few hours.

Hmm. In the LFS environment at chapter 6 I still get one error after applying
the patch:

       === gcc Summary ===

# of expected passes    9694
# of unexpected failures   1

FAIL: c-c++-common/goacc/acc_on_device-2.c
   scan-rtl-dump-times expand "\\\\(call [^\\\\n]* acc_on_device" 0

I'll just make a note of it in LFS that it is known upstream when I add the
patch.

Do I understand correctly that this is when building gcc with gcc 5, and that
it does not occur when building gcc with gcc 4.9?

No, it happens with both gcc5 and gcc4.9. At first I thought it was only gcc5, but I did check and it's both. I've added the patch and made the correction to the comments in Chapter 6 gcc section at revision 10912.
