I saw that introspection was recommended for libgudev, and was
nervous - usually, an unconditional recommendation means that I need
to add a configure switch to do without it. But in this case
configure happily reports 'no' when it tests for
gobject-introspection and does not bail, nor does it spit in my face
and tell me not to be so silly.

The last time I checked, introspection was only used by gnome
packages. But gudev is shown as a dependency by several others,
including the gimp, gst-plugins-good, udisks{1,2}, upower, colord,
thunar{,-volman}.

So, why do we unconditionally recommend it ?
