If the build instructions are close enough, we could just mention them like

I'm not taking a position, but just mentioning an option.

Bruce,

I think the instructions are not similar. The packages come from different projects.

• *lximage-qt-0.4.0* is from LXQt, but needed fixes, one of which given by yourself, thanks again for that, saved me from failure.

• *obconf-qt-0.9.0.8.g1ce85f1* is from LXQt, but needed to use a git version, to build with Qt5. And is very good indeed, to modify important parts of LXQt appearance. lxappearance-obconf-0.2.2 could be used, instead, but is *gtk* based and need lxappearance, also very good, but not of interest for *Qt* only systems.

BTW, I uploaded it the package to anduin, it is under

    ~/git/o/obconf-qt-0.9.0.8.g1ce85f1.tar.xz{,.md5}

(~/ is my directory).

• *qtermwidget-0.6.0* is not from LXQt, required by qterminal-0.6.0, instructions are different from the ones for the other LXQt applications.

• *qterminal-0.6.0* is not from LXQt, instructions are different from the ones for qtermwidget-0.6.0 and for the other LXQt applications.

• *QupZilla-1.8.6* (I think will rename the page to qupzilla-1.8.6, like the title to match the tarball, makes it easier to manage the scripts and tarballs.)

Definitely, instructions ar very different from the other packages in LXQt.

Here we have several problems.

◦ First one, I don't like what I wrote. Will re-write in moments, but suggestions and direct editions are welcome. Particularly, Ken, who uses the package, could help me, please, to improve the instructions for Qt4 build, which is what he prefers, I think.

◦ Second, the tarball is v1.8.6.tar.gz. I recommend in the page either

mv v1.8.6.tar.gz qupzilla-1.8.6.tar.gz

or

wget ... -O qupzilla-1.8.6.tar.gz

Perhaps there is better solution. I remember Ken discussing recently such kind of problem with Bruce.

Finally, suggestions, additions, editions, fixes, etc are very welcome. Please test LXQt to check where I am wrong or where it can be improved. I expect many fixes, from each person testing it, I know there must be many problems there.

Thanks again to all who have contributed to LXQt, in the past and in the present.
