In building Doxygen-1.8.10 in BLFS-7.8, I found that I could not run the tests without first installing libxml2-2.9.2. If libxml2 is not installed, all the tests fail with the message that Doxygen can't find the xmllint command.
In the BLFS-7.8 book libxml2-2.9.2 is listed as an optional dependency. Perhaps there should also be a statement that it is a required dependency to run the tests?
