On my kaveri, with its (expletive-deleted) attempt to build kde4, I
have now installed the binaries from texlive. But as is my custom,
I downloaded a recent version of install-tl-unx (20160226) instead
of the version from June last year, because anybody trying it now
will almost certainly use a current version. It all installed, but
running my latex-test suite, lualatex crapped out. I tried tlmgr,
but no updates seem to be available.

For the moment, I've taken that to a texlive list.

<sigh>This is getting to be as bad as two weeks ago. I've also got
a problem (blank display) with the 4.5.0-rc6 kernel on that machine,
so my plans to reinstall Fedora and then try to use that to build a
server version of LFS (with the packages I care about) will probably
have to take a back seat.</sigh>
