What I've noticed is that the C programs do not have an issue. It's only
the C++ apps that have issues (so far).
I'm using a fairly complete BLFS system with an upgraded gcc.
The new major versions of ImageMagick and ffmpeg have made me build a lot
of dependent packages to check for issues.
