You're welcome, Douglas.
Just as a follow up, I confirmed that the issue I was having with the evdev 
driver not creating the config file was due to using version 2.9.2 instead of 
2.10.2 .
I am just starting to build xfce (first time for me), so I'll let you know if 
I have any issues with that section. Thanks!
