Now that LFS-rc1 has been released, we need to start tagging BLFS for that
version: &lfs80_checked; or &lfs80_built; as appropriate.
There are a couple of things to check this time. Please make sure that no
files are added to /lib64 or that /usr/lib64 is not created by a package.
We need to do our regular package freeze now, but this time the freeze
should be in increments. If a package has been tagged, then it should not
be updated unless discussed on this list. If a package has not yet been
tagged, then it is ok to update it, but please be careful as another
editor may have it done, but not yet committed the tag. Check the current
ticket status often.
The default milestone for both LFS and BLFS for new tickets is now 8.1 but
tickets can still be created for 8.0 if necessary.
