Bringing my scripts up to date, sourceforge is mostly down at the
moment. I took a punt on google and downloaded a version of scons
from pypi via https://pypi.python.org/pypi/SCons - but the md5sum
differs. I then went to
http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/blfs/conglomeration/scons/ and confirmed
the version there matches the md5 in the book.
The difference appears to be in the _time_ of the __revision__
entries : the official version has times starting at 12:59:24, the
version at pyypi starts at 13:28:16 (both are a few seconds later for
some of the files.
So, the actual content is similar, only the revision details
embedded in the files differ (and why would anybody put that in a
tarball ?). I knew python was weird, I didn't realise it could be
*this* weird ;)
