Hi,
While updating to gnumeric 1.12.36, I got the error:

${d}/C/gnumeric.xml
I tried to recompile itstool with the patch, but no joy. Actually there
is another bug
[1], which was discovered after the fix. As stated in [2], this second
bug occurs only with
the libxml2 Python module compiled for py3. There is a fix in [3], which
I plan to try (tomorrow, it's late here).
