The GTK+ commit [2] gives the hint, that it’s part of Mesa [3]. But I built Mesa with the Wayland backend. … --enable-gles1 --enable-gles2 --enable-osmesa --enable-xa --enable-glx-tls --with-llvm-shared-libs --with--platforms=drm,x11,wayland --with-gallium-drivers=nouveau,r600,radeonsi,svga,swrast --with-vulkan-drivers=intel,radeon …

As you can see above there is one dash too much in `--with--platform`. Sorry for the noise.

I’ll look into this. To make something good out of it, could you please extend the note in the Mesa chapter, that Wayland is also needed for GTK+? Currently there is only Plasma and LXQt mentioned.

This is still valid.
