In the past I've mentioned that I might take a look at Basilisk (another fork of firefox from the Pale Moon people). Last night, with steam coming out of my ears over my problem with rustc and cargo (hopefully, I found a fix today) I decided to take a look.
Seemed to have fairly-frequent development releases, so I downloaded the latest. Then I looked around to see what distros were doing. I found some not-current stuff in Arch's AUR. Then, looking a bit further down the search results I came to a link from an Arch site to a github post, where the developers were *demanding* that people trying to port it to Open BSD (where shipped libraries are not permitted) removed the official branding. https://github.com/jasperla/openbsd-wip/issues/86 (see the comment from 5th Feb). After that I deleted the download, and I'm not going to touch that project with the proverbial barge-pole. ĸen -- Tout est bien, tout va bien, tout va pour le mieux qu'il soit possible -- Candide, de Voltaire (Everything is for the best, in the best of all possible worlds) -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
