Could somebody duplicate it and confirm?
There has been a fix in the book for a couple of days now:


 First fix a problem when using gcc-8.3:

sed -i "s/volatile//" \
  qtscript/src/3rdparty/javascriptcore/JavaScriptCore/jit/JITStubs.cpp
