That's what archlinux uses.
Yes, we have to do that for upower and libvdpau. I'll have to update
the currency script.
AFAICT, the race condition might be fixed with this release.
Please open a ticket. I'll do it if someone doesn't beat me to it. I'm
working on KDE today though. Upstream just released kf5-5.58.
