Hi again
I've just closed the ticket 12389: xfce 4.14 and I think compiling xfce
4.14 like it is now in the book is correct. However, I might have missed
some new optional dependencies and some that don't exist anymore. What I
did change, apart from just the version bumbs:
- added an optional dependency to colord on xfce4-settigs
- removed the dbus-glib dependency in xfconf
- updated all the libwnck2 dependencies to libwnck
- xfceui now "needs" gtk3 and "recommends" gtk2
What I did not do:
- move the libwnck2 page over to lxde, the only place it is needed now
- remove the reference to xfce4-gtk-engine, which probably should be
dropped
- same goes for xfce4-xkb-plugin
What could be mentioned somewhere:
- parole, xfce4-terminal and ristretto have to be recompiled after the
upgrade.
Bye
Tim
