A problem appears with the patch
qtwebengine-5.13.0-background_rendering_fix-1.patch
Using Dolphin I was surprised to find that this one only shows blank pages.
I first thought of a dolphin bug but using qt-creator-4.9.2 (not in the
blfs-book) I found that the "Help" menu of qt-creator also displayed
blank pages.
Since Qt-Creator has nothing to do with KDE, I started to suspect
QtWebEngine.
I then recompiled QtWebEngine-5.13.0 *without the patch* and now
dolphin and qtcreator are working properly.
By editing the QtWebEngine patch I found that it was dated January 2019
while the Qt source files are dated June 18, 2019.
So this patch seems older than the source code that it is supposed to
fix.
Is this patch still relevant?
