Now that LFS-9.1-rc1 has been released, it is time to start tagging BLFS to test the packages there.

There are about 850 packages that need to be built, tested, and tagged in BLFS.

Here is the major rule of thumb for updates:

If a package is already tagged, do not update it.
Exceptions can be made for critical security issues or if the package is not a dependency of any other package in BLFS. In those cases the update should be discussed on blfs-dev before doing the update.

As of right now, all the package updates listed in the ticket 9.1 milestone can be done, but new versions of other packages should be put in the 9.2 milestone by default.
