Yes, for some reason I haven't thought of all the implications of a new major version for Qt... As far as LXQt is concerned, Qt6 lacks the qtx11extras module, and I guess the API changes prevent building LXQt (and its kf5 dependencies) anyway. OTOH, I still plan to try various ways to build a trimmed down version of Qt, but I guess it should be another ticket (do not hold your breath)...
