baobab, cheese, dconf-editor,evolution-data-server, folks, gettext (in one
test), gexiv2, gnome-calculator, grilo, gsound, libchamplain, libfm, libgeee,
librsvg, libsecret, libsoup, lightdm, lxsession, qemu (in tests), seahorse,
shared-mime-info (in a test), tracker, umockdev, upower, vinagre, vte, all have
.vala files in their tarball.

So I guess they use vala
