Hi. I'm connecting to ADSL through an ALCATEL Speedtouch modem (the green one). I've followed the nice link given some time ago by Andrew Benton :
http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/index.html There's now a LFS tag, and I didn't see it in the hints, so maybe it's worth mentioning (and maybe I didn't look at the right place ;-). Anyway, I followed the full HOWTO. The firmware loads correctly at boot time. The pppd call works, the chap authentification works, I get a ppp0 item in ifconfig, but i'm unable to send a single packet on Internet. No pings, no www transaction, no ftp...
