It looks as though you want the one box to be server to your network,
client to the ISP, and firewall. Write it up as you go, because a lot
of people will want to know how you did it :-).
I would start by reading up instead of asking (I have heard the
NET-3-HOWTO reccommended). Learn the use of the route, & netstat
commands. Some imaginative route carving may help.
Then (guessing) I would put in the firewall last. Put your local boxen
in /etc/hosts and yourself in resolv.conf. Something that may simplify
things is adding dns to the linux box. So you don't have to specify
too much that way as the dns server (e.g. DJB's dnscache) asks the
questions and resolv.conf can just be 127.0.,0.1.
Then, when it all screws up mightily, firure out why :-D. And when you
get it working, write the hint.
