I've just installed rpm on a LFS6.1 but when I try to install an rpm packet it fails because rpm don't find libc.so.6 and many other libraries. I think that's because all the libraries that you build before installing rpm doesn't figure in the rpm database. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

To be able to use rpm successfully on an lfs based system you need to install rpm into the temptools during chapt 5. Then when you start building the final versions of the packages as rpm's you fix all the dependancy problems. Search the archives for my contributions. IIRC I posted scripts and spec files to build lfs with rpm. You can also mail me off list for more details.

Back to lurking :)
