You miss the DIY way (B)LFS is done.

If you think the BLFS packages in one swallow are desirable, then
probably so does somebody else. Get 1G of webspace, and roll the tar
(tar.bz2s are smaller) and have it there. You'll need to update it very
regularly for the unstable branch of blfs as packages change.

Then listen to the complaints.....

Personally, I only install 20% of those packages and then some not in
the book, so I'd never be downloading your tar.
