Hello everybody,
Was going to try Open Office 1.1.4 in Chapter 34 in the blfs svn book on my
LFS-dev build, which is using gcc-3.4.4. After my nap I saw the problem.
ln -sf /usr/include/c++/3.4.3 /usr/g++-v3
If the user is using 3.4.4, it will just cause a mass of errors.
Users using gcc-3.4.4 should use this instead:
ln -sfv /usr/include/c++/3.4.3 /usr/g++-v3
I probably wouldn't put it past people to change the command while they are
copying and posting or in deep typing of what they see without thinking about
what is installed on their system.
Hope this helps people.
Sincerely,
William Harrington (Ratrophy)
