I don't know why I bothered knowing that both you and Justin aready
tried to find it, but I dug around a bit anyway, and found the same dead
end.  I do know that the putty ssh client for windows prompts for a
username after making the connection, so it is definately possible, but
that is from the client side...and windows only AFAIK.
