Hi,
I am installing lfs-cvs-20050730 & blfs-cvs-2005-08-05 on two separate systems (P-IV & P-III).
I have finished installing lfs on both and am in the process of installing xorg. I have finished install of openssl, cracklib, PAM and reinstallation of shadow-4.0.11.1 (after reading about some problems with shadow on the List)

I have installed dependencies of xorg and some additional graphic packages - jpeg, tiff, libungif, giflib- as also gpm and lynx (to help in installation).
After completing install of xorg, I get the following errors:
1. On command 'Xorg -configure" the screen does go blank and returns but gives the following:
(EE) Failed to load module "fbdev" (once-only module, -1075088376)
(++) Using config file: "/root/xorg.conf.new"
(++) Using config file: "/root/xorg.conf.new"
The mouse has been detected etc.
2. On command 'X -config ~/xorg.conf.new' The "grey screen with big 'X' " does come up but does not return upon 'ctrl+alt+b/s'. Instead the screen goes all colors and the system hangs.
3. On trying to start X after reboot,(and after editing xorg.conf and completion of other configs etc.) 'X' does not start and I get the following errors:

xauth: error while loading shared libraries: libXmuu.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
xauth: error while loading shared libraries: libXmuu.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory
xauth: error while loading shared libraries: libXmuu.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
xauth: error while loading shared libraries: libXmuu.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory.
How should I proceed to solve these? Please help.
