Hello,
I thought I'd recap on this 'problem'... Well, usurprisingly it was just
me using gstreamer for the first time; there was nothing wrong with ALSA
but rather gstreamer - it defaults to OSS, and I don't have ALSA-OSS
plugin. All that I had to do was go gstreamer-properties -> choose ALSA.
