I am running LFS 6.1 and I have a problem with my mouse. I am running Xorg
stable (6.8.2RC6 i think) and fluxbox 0.9.14. My problem is that whenever i do
something that is heavy on the cpu such as open firefox or copy large files, my
mouse starts jumping around like crazy, and my workspaces keep switching all
over the place. i have a logitech mx1000, but use it under the explorerps/2
protocol in xorg.conf. the mouse also seems to click/copy/paste wherever it
jumps to. this also happens when i go to websites such as espn.go.com. I dont
know if this is related or not, but while i was installing LFS, i would have to
switch to and from different consoles on my host os. whenever i did a "make
install" and would switch to another console (alt+f2) that console would act as
if the shift key were constantly pressed. i would then have to press as many
keys as i randomly could to finally get alt+f1 to switch back. does anyone
know what the cause of this is? is it hardware, or more just configuration. im
thinking about redoing the installation for xorg because the mouse thing is
annoying. i can only use it when im not doing anything with my computer!!
thanks
