Err, have you been following lfs-book at all? If so you'll have seen there's been a reasonable amount of work done on the 6.1.1 branch (a.k.a. 'testing'). Obviously this stuff takes time, sorry if it isn't fast enough for you but this is a voluntary project you know :/
