Hello all. I'm attempting to use sound-juicer to create MP3 files. I've created the profile, and used the settings (CnP) from the help topic. Any attempt thereafter to use the new profile, in fact even opening the preferences, results in a segfault.

To recover is much more than removing the package and reinstalling. I had to dig into /etc/gnome and remove the gstreamer profiles manually...this still was not enough. I then had to remove the /usr/share directories for sound-juicer and the .gconf settings in the home dirs too. After this, it does fire up and encoding to flac or ogg is fine. Again adding the mp3 profile results in the same segfault.

I went back to grip. Anyone with a similar experience...or better anyone using sound-juicer for mp3? A friendly pointer to the correct docs needed to set up the gstreamer profile properly would be sufficient.
