Hello, BLFSers.

I'm setting up a minimal BLFS system for my laptop without X11--I've got
MPlayer to play movies on the framebuffer, but one thing that is annoying me
about this--the text-mode cursor is still blinking in the bottom left of the
screen. Previously, I remember being able to control the parameters of the
cursor using some commands, so that I could modify its size/shape and disable
it from blinkind, but now I have forgotten how this is done. I plan to use
this in a script, in which the cursor blink would be disabled before playing
the movie; then re-enabled after MPlayer exits.

Can anyone tell me how to modify the cursor so that it doesn't blink?

Thanks
