Hi.
I have finally built and installed OO-2.0.0 !!
I've experienced some problems though:
1) I couldn't use the configure option --with-system-python, even if I
have Python already installed.
Something is odd with your python installation. Please see my previous
reply.
2) If I use any of the configure options '--disable-pasf' or
'--disable-nas', the build fails.
--disable-nas is not a valid switch (--without-nas). Hopefully that
explains it.
3) If I use the configure options '--disable-epm --disable-odk
--disable-qadevooo --disable-mathmldtd', it builds fine, but when I try
to "cd
instsetoo_native/unxlngi6.pro/OpenOffice/install/en-US/linux-2.6-intel/buildroot/opt",
as it's said in the BLFS book, such directory does not exist.
--disable-epm is the culprit. The build is not packaged without it.
Cheers and Merry Christmas to Everyone!
Be good!!

Here is my 'bare minimum' config.parms from last night's successful build:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# cat
/media/lfs/usr/src/OOo_2.0.0rc3_src/config_office/config.parms
--prefix=/opt/openoffice-2.0.0 --disable-fontooo --without-fonts
--with-system-stdlibs --with-system-freetype --with-system-expat
--with-system-libxml --with-system-zlib --enable-build-mozilla
--with-build-version=BLFS --with-package-format=native
--disable-binfilter --without-gpc --disable-gtk --disable-cups
--disable-odk --disable-qadevooo --disable-gnome-vfs --disable-pasf
--with-system-jpeg --with-system-python
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully we've covered #1 and #3
sufficiently. #2 is questionable. The configure script should have
died with the incorrect switch. Let me know if you think any of the
above needs furthur clarification.
