Hmm.. auto has always worked fine on 6.7, 6.8, but I'll give the others
a go. What's the difference between IM and Explorer?

Yes, that's something I turned up on my research. Should be harmless
though, since my understanding is that those settings match the default.
I'll try taking them out though...

I'll try taking it out, since it's something I used more with my old
trackball than the current mouse. Can't see why it would be harmful
though - it just tells the driver that pressing #1 and #2 simultaneously
should be treated as a #3, and works fine even if the mouse already has
three buttons.
