Wrong list ? Suggesting that something should be in the book probably
belongs on blfs-dev.
For me, it was not interesting - the packages I want from both gnome
and kde are installed in /usr. But, there is only one human user of my
boxes and the desktop builds now have a short expected lifespan (of the
order of six months).
