I'm guessing (as you didn't provide the necessary information) that you're talking about the SVN book. If I'm wrong, then please disregard my comments below and know that you caused me to waste my time because you wouldn't even follow the most elementary of support requests, that being, letting us know which book you are talking about. Unfortunately, changes in LFS can have major effects on BLFS. This appears to be one of those times. Changes were made to LFS, that really nobody (on the BLFS side) knows how to fix in the BLFS book. So, it will take some time before we come up to speed.
