Hi!
I m using BLFS 6.0.
while building xfree86 4.4.0,when I run XFree86
-xf86config ~/XF86Config.new it does not show gray
screen, but a moving block showing message *sync out
of range*
and then following error
FATAL: Module i830 not found
[drm] failed to load kernel module i830
[dri] DRIScreeninit failed.
Could not init font path element
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF, removing from list
Could not init font path element
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID, removing from list
I have installed libpng-1.2.8, expat-1.95.8,
FreeType-2.1.9, Fontconfig-2.2.3. ,
Kept host.def as it was told in BLFS book.
Modified all Bash shell startup files and kernel (with
drm enabled )according to the book.
Please help on this.
