That's what I found. Quite some time ago, someone here tried to remove libtool
and all the .la files from their system. I went to the libtool homepage to
see what it did and why anyone would want to remove it. After reading for
ages, I left that page with a massive headache and no clue about what they
were talking about (-;

Whereas Simon's explanation was quick, consice and to the point. Kinda like
the difference between reading a Master's level Text on Quantum Mechanics, or
Stephen Hawkings, 'A Brief History of Time'. They both describe the same
thing, but the latter is understandable by mere mortals like me (-;
I'm sure developers understand the documentation provided, but us mere
builders need the 'Brief History' version (-;
