Oops, I didn't even realize that udftools was in the book. Well have to get a patch in the book for gcc-4. Anyway, here's how you work with the debian patch. Just to note, almost everything in the debian diff.gz is debian related. The patch you want is inside that diff. Here goes. First, fetch the diff ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/u/udftools/udftools_1.0.0b3-9.diff.gz Unpack udftools and enter the directory. Now, you can first decompress the diff with gunzip, or just pipe the uncompressed output into patch. Going the second route: zcat ../udftools_1.0.0b3-9.diff.gz | patch -Np1 Now the whole debian directory is unpacked, including the patch you want. Now, issue the command patch -Np0 -i debian/patch-3-wrudf-gcc4.diff You should be good to go after that. I'll open a bug about this. -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
