<Snip>
The first command strikes
me as a little odd. Why is gcc in opt? Seems this install is not by
the book, so no telling what is different without reproducing it. What
is the system libc and gcc?

I think it's not a problem as everything i compiled works fine. I did
this as i wanted to install both gcc4x and gcc3x

If it's not enougth information i can send more, but what?
I've Xorg7( maybe a component is missing?) and all the needed
requirements, and the recomended ones too.
The system instaled jdk is from source. And i aplied the recomended patches:

Required patch for use with JDK-1.5.0_05: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/OOo_2.0.2-jdk_1.5-1.patch Required patch to fix broken printing support during installation: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/OOo_2.0.2-print_fix-1.patch Optional patch if Linux-PAM-0.99.3.0 is not installed: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/OOo_2.0.2-no_pam-1.patch Optional patch if building against Xorg: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/OOo_2.0.2-xauth-1.patch
Optional patch if building against the system-installed Mozilla
products (NSS, Firefox, or Seamonkey): http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/OOo_2.0.2-system_mozilla_fixes-1.patch Required update for use with JDK-1.5.0_05: ftp://anduin.linuxfromscratch.org/BLFS/svn/b/bsh-2.0b4-src.tar.gz

Maybe the system PAM is not correct?

The error is given on the $SRC/icu/unxlngi6.pro/misc/build/icu/source/i18n
and the compiler said something about Python.. maybe this is the problem.

Thanks
