Complete rebuild, top to bottom. But that's just me. I *know*
this stuff should work, and I've proven it, over and over and
over again (proven to myself, that is). Now, don't take this
the wrong way, but because I *know* this stuff should work,
and I was in your situation, I would know I did something wrong
down the line, somehow, somewhere.

And to me, it is just easier to rebuild than to try to fix a
broken installation.

Well, I know I would never use an actual BLFS "version". I
will/would always use SVN versions. But I am intimately aware of
all the nuances in the book, what to look out for, and what I
know I can be confident in.

We will release a new BLFS version shortly after the next LFS
release.
