The problem indeed still exists with Seamonkey-1.0.1 (but my initial description
about a delayed crash was wrong: it tells about the undefined symbol
immediately). The patch helps.
The patch does the proper linking without the addition of LDFLAGS? If
so, that's good. I'll try to submit it upstream, but most of my bug
reports have gone unfulfilled. I'll see about getting a local fix
into the book for firefox/seamonkey/thunderbird after I make sure it
works on firefox, too.
