Thanks, DJ. 6.90 is up and running like a champ, and I'll probably play with 7.1 next week (or whatever weekend follows its release) as time permits. For now, I have one bit of advice for those building 6.90: Don't try to omit Xinerama. There are some stub functions and #defines to dummy around its absence, but I couldn't get past the compile errors to save my life. As soon as I went ahead and allowed Xinerama, it finished in 45 minutes. -- Peter B.
