Well, I do not need an X environment - I think a Window Manager will do. May I use an X server with Window Managers such as Fluxboxor XFce?
BLFS has a chapter for XFree86, Xorg, Fluxbox, XFce. I suggest you build Xorg and (Fluxbox or XFce).Could you please, back your advice with some arguments?
