Heh... fluxbox was just the ticket - I was able to retain the syntax of my old blackbox configurations and menus, so the transition was painless and now I have more features to play with. I wish I had discovered fluxbox before, but I tend to live out the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" maxim (which is why I'm so stubborn about sticking with gcc 3.x). -- Peter B.
