yes, There are multiple machines on the lan, Iam able to connect to internet using browser but not able to ping/traceroute any website.

True. However, the original email was written as if there is a single
machine:

Reads like a single machine to me.

So Naga, do you have multiple machines on the LAN? Does the machine in

question have the ability to reach the web but can't ping, or...?
