>From the introduction in BLFS (chapter 2, Important Information):
Add $PREFIX/info to INFOPATH.

INFOPATH is also mentioned in the Package Management section of chapter
1, but only in passing without any real explanation.  You might wanna
suggest to the LFS folks that they add a note on INFOPATH to the texinfo
chapter of LFS.
