No, you've given two examples, one incorrect that happens to work, and one very bad that quite possibly will cause you trouble later on in the build. I attempted to help you correct both. To hold my response would have been a disservice to others who might stumble on to the problems that you've identified. > What have I got back ? > > Thanks .... no > Pointless whinging from some whingy @rse ... yes If you really believe that my responses were 'pointless whinging' or that I am a 'whingy @rse', I truly am sorry. You *will* find otherwise at a much later date. If you can correct your attitude, I will be quite happy to help you in the future. Of course that is dependent on you not loosing your head after reading the previous statement and further following my other suggestion. I'll remind you that earlier in the day, I had politely suggested that you read the net etiquette section of the FAQ so that you'll be more likely to get valid responses to your queries and suggestions. Again, I have met with opposition, for which I must draw the conclusion that you have a strong urge to be in conflict with those around you. You must overcome that problem before I (or anyone else) can ever be of assistance with any future technical issues. If you still choose to leave, I wish you luck, though I honestly doubt that luck will find you. Please do take this last bit of advice; Slow down. I'll say it again, slow down, and don't take constructive criticism as an insult, we are all working hard to make BLFS a better product, more so FOSS in general. -- DJ Lucas -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
