When will the LFS-6.2 LiveCD be available?
It's out there, but I don't think you need it for your purposes.
I'm looking for the /etc/rc.d scripts but didn't see them in the 6.2 Live Repository. I wanted to check out how you/LFS start the udev 096 code. I tried using the Gentoo script but had problems. Any chance your environment is set up to tolerate booting older kernels?
You want the lfs-bootscripts tarball. You may also be interested in the udev-config tarball. See the packages page in the book. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/stable/chapter03/packages.html The mirrors also have all the packages in one location. http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/lfs/lfs-packages/6.2/ -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
